Melanotan II (MT-2)

Melanotan II is a synthetic peptide that switches on several melanocortin receptors at once, affecting both skin pigment and central sexual function in research.

It's studied in skin and sexual-health research — how the body controls pigmentation and how the same receptors influence sexual function in the brain.

Early animal and human research showed skin darkening and sexual effects. It has not been approved and has been the subject of FDA warnings.
